A quick
hello from Rio, where I witnessed the Germans beat Argentina and win the World
Cup. Over the last couple of weeks I managed to visit 5 games and I enjoyed
them all. What a World Cup, what a
country, what a people. I can honestly say I was impressed with the passion of
the Brazilians. The people, not their football team.
The truth
is, I wouldn’t have mind seeing Messi’s Argentina win the title but the Germans
showed their class during the whole tournament. As did Colombia, the
Netherlands, etc. It was a wonderful experience to witness from close by. I can’t
wait for 2018!
